About Rachel Waters
Rachel Walters is a compassionate therapist whose work in addiction and mental health treatment is deeply shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Inspired by witnessing the effects of addiction in loved ones and through her own healing journey with trauma, Rachel is passionate about helping others find hope, healing, and self-understanding.
Her approach is person-centered, grounded in the belief that each individual already holds the answers within themselves. Rachel works alongside clients with empathy and guidance, helping them reflect, gain insight, and better understand the patterns that influence their lives.
Rachel is especially passionate about trauma work and believes that understanding the roots of emotional pain is essential to lasting recovery and personal growth. She emphasizes that recovery is not only about stopping substance use, but also about developing self-awareness, self-acceptance, and a deeper connection to one’s inner self.
Clients and families who work with Rachel can expect a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences openly.
Outside of her work, Rachel is a proud mother of two and values the joy and meaning family brings to her life. She also deeply embraces her Congolese heritage, which plays an important role in shaping her identity and the perspective she brings to her work.
