About Justin Bryson
Justin Bryson serves as the Marketing Director at Vanguard, where he brings both professional dedication and personal understanding to the field of addiction and mental health treatment. His path to this work began through his own recovery journey. After struggling with substance abuse for many years, Justin made the decision to enter treatment, a choice that changed the direction of his life. After completing the full program, he later returned to work at that same facility as an overnight Behavioral Health Technician, beginning a new chapter of service in the recovery field.
Today, Justin remains sober and credits much of his growth to the treatment industry, the recovery community, and the people who supported him along the way. Recovery gave him a second chance at life, and he is passionate about helping others find that same hope and possibility.
Justin’s approach to recovery is rooted in compassion, accountability, dignity, and respect. He believes recovery looks different for every person, which is why individualized treatment planning and whole-person support are essential. Through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, Justin values creating an environment where clients are supported mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially.
He is especially passionate about helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders, particularly those who feel hopeless, stuck, or unsure whether change is possible. His personal experience in recovery allows him to connect with clients on a deeper level while supporting a culture of structure, encouragement, accountability, and genuine human connection.
One of Justin’s greatest strengths is his ability to help foster a program environment where clients feel truly cared for rather than judged. He believes every client and family should feel safe, heard, respected, and supported throughout the recovery process. Above all, he wants those who come to Vanguard to know they are not alone, that recovery is possible, and that a committed team is standing beside them every step of the way.
Outside of work, Justin values spending quality time with his wife, Angelique, and their son, Vincent. Being present with his family means everything to him, especially as he helps guide his young son through his early years, teaching him new things, creating memories, and being part of his growth each day.
