Residential Treatment

Residential treatment is the most intensive, and often most effective, form of treatment for those battling addiction or mental health issues. While committing to a residential program is not a requirement for mental health or addiction treatment, it can be highly beneficial for some. With residential treatment, you enter a program that offers housing, rehabilitation services and 24/7 support from a team of skilled professionals. These programs are designed to provide a structured, supportive atmosphere that gives individuals everything they need to achieve recovery without outside influence or interference.

At our residential treatment centers at Vanguard, we offer a loving, compassionate environment. We walk you through the process of self-healing, which can be done at your own pace. You won’t contend with guilt, judgment or shame while in our programs — many on our team have been right where you are and successfully achieved recovery themselves.

Our residential substance abuse treatment facilities include a detox center, which is often a necessary starting point. We are equipped to help with substances like heroin, opioids, alcohol, meth, fentanyl, benzodiazepines and more. At Vanguard, residents get help for all aspects of their primary mental health while in our programs, including for substance use and co-occurring disorders. It is not uncommon for substance abuse and mental health issues to go hand in hand and require dual diagnosis treatment.
